CNBC will feature Columbia’s local economy
COLUMBIA, MO (February 2, 2009) -
When: Tuesday, Feb. 3, approximately 9:10 - 9:30 a.m., CST
Where: CNBC, “Squawk on the Street”
What: CNBC reporters will interview Mayor Darwin Hindman regarding a
local economy that’s “surviving and thriving” during tough
economic times.
Background: This week, “Squawk on the Street” will feature several
cities that appear to be beating the economic odds right now. A regular
offering on CNBC, the show focuses on stock markets and economic news.
Mayor Hindman will talk about Columbia’s major economic engines and
local development strategies.
