City manager’s news conference scheduled for Friday

COLUMBIA, MO (January 14, 2009) -

When: Friday, Jan. 16 - 9:30 a.m.

Where: City Council Chamber, fourth floor, Daniel Boone Building, 701
E. Broadway

What: City Manager Bill Watkins provides updates on city activities and
reviews City Council agenda for Tuesday, Jan. 20. 

Notes: To accommodate observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday,
City Council will meet Tuesday, Jan. 20. City offices will be closed
Monday, Jan. 19. 

The public can watch Columbia Channel rebroadcasts of the address
Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. - airing on Mediacom
channel 13, Charter Communications channel 2 and channel 401 on
CenturyTel Service

Note: Council Agenda and support materials will be available online at
www.GoColumbiaMo.com after 12 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16.
