City offices closed on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

	(COLUMBIA, MO) - City offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, in
observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Offices will reopen
Tuesday, Jan. 20.
	The regular City Council meeting will be held Tuesday, beginning
at 7 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, located on the fourth floor of
City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.
	Collection of residential refuse and recycling will be delayed
one day throughout the week. The sanitary landfill will be closed, city
buses will not operate and parking meters will not be enforced on Jan.
19. Though administrative offices for both the police and fire
departments will be closed, all other emergency services will be
available.
