Parks and Recreation Presents Family Fun Fest: Around the World

COLUMBIA, MO - Don’t miss the fun at the monthly Family Fun Fests!
The Family Fun Fests are held the third Wednesday of each month through
October at Flat Branch Park. 

July 15: Around the World
Come and see all the culture Columbia has to offer through different
cultural children’s games and performances by:

La Movida (Latin band)
Deva Dancers (belly dancing)
Friends of China (drumming, yo-yo and sword performances)
Ehren Oncken (German accordion)
Boone County Fire Protection District Pipes & Drums (Bagpiping)

The Fun Fests feature a new theme each month. Each one is held from 6-8
p.m. and is free. Entertainment for the entire family will feature
music, special performances, art activities, bounce-houses, hands-on
activities, balloon-animals, face painting and guaranteed fun for all
ages. Also, don’t miss out on the City of Columbia’s very own
firetruck and police car and don’t forget to visit the Youzeum on
Cherry Street, open until 7:30 p.m.

The Family Fun Fests are sponsored by the Convention & Visitors Bureau,
Columbia Parks & Recreation, KPLA 101.5, KOMU 8 and Columbia Home &
Lifestyle Magazine.
