Chip seal to begin on City streets

COLUMBIA, MO (July 10, 2009) - The City of Columbia Public Works
Department announces that beginning Monday, July 13, through Friday,
July 17, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, the Street Division will begin chip seal
maintenance on the following streets:

Sinclair from Nifong to end of ACC

Whitburn from Glencairn Dr to Blackford Ct

Walcox Dr from Sinclair to West end

Cumberland Rd from Greenbriar Dr to Trail Ridge Dr

Overland Ct from Trail Ridge Dr to West end

Victoria Dr from Carter Ln to Terry Ln

Terry Ln from Victoria Dr to North end

Terry Ln from Victoria Dr to South end

Rock Hill from Hill Top Dr to Cliff Dr

Rock Hill from Broadway to Fyfer Pl

Ross St from Lee St to Crescent Rd

Raintree Ct from Audubon Dr to East end

Brandon from Providence Rd to West end

Clarkson Rd from Burnam Rd to Northwest end

Lincoln Dr from McBaine Ave to Oak St

Westmount Ave from Stewart Rd to South end

Lakeshore Dr from Glenwood Ave to South end

Leawood Terr from Lindell Dr to Greenwood Ave

Westwood Ave from Broadway to South end

Hickory Hill Dr from Sunset Dr to Sunset Dr

Prospect St from West Boulevard to Creastland Ave

Tipton Terr from Briarwood to Rockingham Dr

Summit Rd from Fairview Rd to Walther Ct

Surfside Ct from Hulen Dr to East end

Stony Brook Pl from Ridgefield Rd to South end



This work will result in temporary lane restrictions on the streets
listed above.

The work should be completed and the street fully reopened each day,
weather permitting. Parking on the street will be restricted on each
street during this period.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in
the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
