National electrical code review meetings planned for Columbia
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Building Construction Codes Commission
members assigned to a special committee will meet to review the 2008
National Electrical Code. The first meeting is planned for Wednesday,
July 1, at 5 p.m. in the third floor conference room of the Daniel Boone
Building at 701 E. Broadway. 
	The code review meetings will continue every Wednesday until
Sept. 2. Upon completion of the code review, the Committee will present
its recommendations to the Building Construction Codes Commission for
review. The Commission will submit its recommendation to the City
Council. 
	The meetings are open to the public. Questions should be
directed to the Protective Inspection Division at (573) 874-7474.
