City offices closed July 3; correction to holiday schedule for Public
Works
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) -  City offices will be closed Friday, July 3, in
observance of Independence Day. The city manager’s news conference
will be held Thursday, July 2, at 9:30 a.m. 
	The Public Works Department would like to correct an
announcement that ran in the July City Source.
●	Residential curbside trash and recycling collection WILL run on
its regular schedule on Friday, July 3. 
●	The city landfill will be open Friday, July 3, but will be
closed Saturday, July 4. 
●	Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be open on Saturday,
July 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 1313 Lakeview Avenue. 
●	City buses will run on their regular schedule and routes on
Friday, July 3. Columbia Transit will not run on Saturday. 
●	Parking meters will not be enforced on Friday or Saturday.
