Mayor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Health presents the 2009
Spring Fitness Expo & Awards
	
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Mayor’s Council on Physical Fitness &
Health’s (MCPFH) Spring Fitness Forum will be held on Tuesday, May 5,
at the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC) from 5:30 - 8 p.m. The
Fitness Forum is part of Bike, Walk, and Wheel Week activities and will
include a health and fitness expo and the Mayor’s Fitness and Health
Awards Program. The expo is a cooperative effort between the MCPFH and
members of Columbia’s health and fitness community and is free for all
attendees. There will be free health screenings, African dance lessons,
belly dance lessons, vendor giveaways and healthy snacks. There will be
a little something on physical fitness and health for everyone, ages 1
to 101.
	At 7:30 p.m., Mayor Hindman will present his annual physical
fitness and health awards to members of the Columbia community for
achievements in weight loss, improved fitness and smoking cessation.
