Temporary closure on Stewart Road

(COLUMBIA, MO) -- The Public Works Department announces that on
Saturday, May 9, contractors working on the University of Missouri’s
power plant will necessitate the closure of a portion of Stewart Road
between Providence Road and Fourth Street, as well as the sidewalk on
both sides of the street. Work will be done between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Motorists and pedestrians are advised to take an alternate route.
Stewart Road will be reopened that evening, weather permitting.
