Parks and Recreation Dedicating Two Neighborhood Parks

COLUMBIA, MO – The Columbia Parks and Recreation Department is
planning two neighborhood park dedications on Saturday, October 10. 

The first will be held at Grasslands Park (21 East Clarkson Road) at 10
a.m. The second dedication will immediately follow at Auburn Hills Park
(5101 Derby Ridge Road) at 11 a.m. 

The public is invited to both dedications, which will feature remarks
from city officials, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and refreshments. 

Both parks were completed earlier this year. Funding for the parks was
provided in part by the voter-approved Park Sales Tax.
