Open house/interested-parties meeting for proposed roadway improvements
will be held Wednesday
(COLUMBIA, MO) – The Public Works Department announces an informal
open house concerning future roadway projects:
1) Stadium Boulevard, from Broadway to Interstate 70;
2) Bernadette Drive, from Fairview Road to Beverly Drive;
3) Fairview Road, from Worley Street to Bernadette Drive;
4) and Worley Street, from Bernadette Drive to the Columbia Mall
traffic signal.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, April 14, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at
the Activity and Recreation Center (ARC), 1701 West Ash Street.
The projects will be staged and are identified for construction from
2010 through 2013. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the scope,
design and scheduling for the improvement projects listed above.
Information, maps and diagrams will be available for public review. City
staff, Missouri Department of Transportation staff and consulting
engineers with Cook, Flatt and Strobel will be present to answer
questions and receive comments.
