Fair Housing Symposium To Be Held Thursday
Free Event is Open to the Public
 
(COLUMBIA, MO) – The Missouri Commission on Human Rights and the City
of Columbia will host a Fair Housing Symposium on Thursday, April 22nd
from 9 AM – 12:30 PM at the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public
Health and Human Services, 1005 West Worley in Columbia. The event is
free and open to the public.
 
The symposium will focus on the question of available accessible
housing and lending in the Columbia community and the status of
enforcement of the Fair Housing Act by State and Federal agencies.
Panel members include:Cheryl Davidson, Investigator and Civil Rights
Analyst, US Department of Housing and Urban Development
Rigel Oliveri, Law Professor, University of Missouri School of Law
Alisa Warren, Executive Director, Missouri Commission on Human Rights
