GetAbout Columbia offers Cycle Chic guided ride
 
COLUMBIA, MO (August 23, 2010) - Celebrate the simple pleasures of bicycling on the “Cycle Chic” guided ride on Sunday, Aug. 29, from 4-6 p.m. This leisurely paced, 5-mile ride will begin and end at the Flat Branch Park gazebo, 101 S. Fourth St. The Cycle Chic manifesto is "style before speed." Participants are encouraged to dress up and decorate their bikes to show that bicycling can be both fun and stylish! Prizes will be awarded for “most chic helmet.”
 
The ride will focus on the downtown area of Columbia, highlighting new and improved GetAbout Columbia infrastructure developments. 
 
A brief reception with light refreshments will take place at Flat Branch Park upon conclusion of the ride.
