FREE Spay/Neuter Vouchers NO LONGER Available from Animal Control
This advisory is an update to the release that was sent on Tuesday,
December 7th.
COLUMBIA- Free spay/neuter vouchers are no longer available at the
Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services.
Animal Control officers encourage anyone interested in
spaying/neutering their pets to participate in one of four Low-Cost
Vaccination Clinics, sponsored by the Central Missouri Humane Society
(CMHS). 2011 clinics will be held at the CMHS facility on Big Bear
Boulevard from 8-11 am on:Saturday, January 22nd
Saturday, April 16th
Saturday, July 16th
Saturday, October 22nd
Spay/neuter costs at the clinics are:Dog (male and female) rates start
at $60 (does NOT include rabies vaccination)
Cat (male) $25 (DOES include rabies vaccination)
Cat (female) $30 (DOES include rabies vaccination)
Cat Barnyard Special – 3 or more cats (male and female) $20 each (DOES
include rabies vaccination)
Dog Barnyard Special – 3 or more dogs (male and female) $50 each (does
NOT include rabies vaccination)
No appointment is required. Other vaccines are available at the
low-cost clinics. For complete details, contact the CMHS at
