Go Skateboarding Day Rescheduled
 
Parks and Recreation’s Go Skateboarding Day event has been rescheduled for August 14 from 5-8 p.m.The event was originally set for June 19 but was rained out.  It will take place at the ColumbiaSkateParkin CosmoPark. 
 
Participants will enjoy skate team demos, free time to skate and helmet giveaways. It is free of chargeHelmets are required for both contests, regardless of age.  The day will also feature great music and food, as well as a raffle and give-aways.
 
Go Skateboarding Day is presented by Columbia Parks and Recreation, Parkside Skate Shop, Tiger Pilot Club, and Youth Community Coalition.
