Chip sealing streets
        
(COLUMBIA, MO) – The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that the Street Division will perform chip seal maintenance Aug. 2-3 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the following streets, weather permitting:

• Monroe Street, from Charles Street to Old Highway 63
• Moss Street, from Gordon Street to McAlester Street
• Hinkson Avenue, from William Street to Melbourne Street
• Gordon Street, from Charles Street to Old Highway 63
• Taft Street, from Monroe Street to Gordon Street
This work will result in temporary lane restrictions on the streets listed above. The work should be completed and the streets fully reopened each day, weather permitting. Parking will be restricted on each street during this period. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
