Market Drive at Scott Boulevard to close for road work
        
(COLUMBIA, MO) – The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces
that beginning Wednesday, May 5, at 7 a.m., Market Drive will close for
approximately one month due to the Scott Boulevard road improvement
project. 
Emery Sapp & Sons Inc. will temporarily close Market Drive at Scott
Boulevard for the installation of storm sewers. Traffic will be rerouted
to Corona Road and Chapel Hill Road. Market Drive is expected to be
reopened on June 5, weather permitting. Motorists and pedestrians are
urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use
an alternate route to detour around Market Drive.
