City’s Historic Preservation Commission to lead history and haunts Saturday
(COLUMBIA, MO) – Take the tour! The public is invited to meet up with the Historic Preservation Commission for a walking tour of historic and haunted properties through downtown Columbia, Stephens College and the University of Missouri on Saturday, Oct. 30. The tour will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at Uprise Bakery. From there, guides will lead participants on a two-hour tour filled with mystery and history. This event is family-friendly, free and open to the public.
Properties featured on the tour include:
• Historic Senior Hall, Stephens College
• The Residence on Francis Quadrangle
• The Conley House
• The Columns
• The Missouri Theatre
