World Breastfeeding Week Party

COLUMBIA, MO (August 4, 2011) -  

WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK PARTY

Boone County WIC Program Hosts Party in Honor of World Breastfeeding Week

 

Boone County's WIC program will host a party for its breastfeeding mom's tomorrow, Friday, August 5th from 10am - noon at the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services at 1005 West Worley in Columbia.

 

In addition to our mom's, community partners including the La Leche League, First Chance for Children and Head Start will also be in attendance. The party will include a House of Van Sickle fashion show and the unveiling of WIC's "She's Fabulous" breastfeeding promotional campaign.

 

World Breastfeeding Week focuses on the protection, promotion and support of breastfeeding worldwide. Please join us in celebrating WIC mom's and their dedication to breastfeeding.
