Teen Bands to Rock the Garage Band Bash

COLUMBIA, MO (August 11, 2011) - Columbia Parks and Recreation and the Youth Community Coalition are teaming up to throw the 6th Annual "Back to School" Garage Band Bash from 7 to 10 p.m. on Friday, August 19.

The bash will be held on top of the parking garage at 6th and Cherry Streets. There is an admission fee of $2.

Different area teen bands will be jamming throughout the evening, featuring Guilty Party, Table for 5, and The Word Profit.

Columbia Public Works is a co-sponsor of the event. Call Parks and Recreation at 874-7460 for more information.
