Worley Street Sidewalk Project

COLUMBIA, MO (August 12, 2011) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announces that on Monday, Aug. 15, at 7 a.m., Emery Sapp & Sons of Columbia, Mo., will begin construction of the Worley Street sidewalk from Clinkscales Road to the Sanford-Kimpton Health Facility (Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services). This work will result in temporary lane restrictions on Worley Street. The total project cost is $277,659, which is funded by the Community Development Block Grant. The project should be completed by Sept. 23. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
