Bridge replacement will create temporary closure of Route WW

COLUMBIA, MO (February 8, 2011) - Beginning Feb. 21, weather permitting, the Missouri Department of Transportation will begin replacing the North Fork Grindstone Creek Bridge on Route WW in Boone County. Traffic will be required to take alternate routes while the bridge is being replaced. The bridge will be closed to traffic for approximately 54 days.

Motorists are advised to take an alternate route using Richland Road on the east side or Keene Street on the west side to detour around the construction area. For more information about the closure, go online to www.modot.org/central or contact the Customer Service Center at 1-888-ASK-MoDOT (275-6636).
