Facilities Limited at Philips Park for Show Me Games Weekend

COLUMBIA, MO (July 19, 2011) - Philips Park visitors should be aware that some amenities at the park will be closed this weekend due to the Show Me State Games Triathlon.

The parking lot will be closed starting at 4 p.m. on July 23 through 12 p.m. on July 24 so that triathlon organizers can set up for the event. However, driveways into the park will remain open for boaters and emergency vehicles. Park users will be asked to park along the street while the lot is closed.

The lake and boat dock will be closed from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 24 during the triathlon.
