Traffic being moved to new section of Scott Boulevard

COLUMBIA, MO (July 19, 2011) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that beginning Friday, July 22, traffic will be diverted to the new Scott Boulevard. Initially, two northbound lanes and one southbound lane will be moved over to the new roadway. Remaining work will cause one southbound lane to be closed temporarily, with the entire project (except for tree planting) slated to be finished in late August, weather permitting. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area.
