Line striping city streets

COLUMBIA, MO (June 20, 2011) - The Public Works Department announces that crews began line striping city streets today and will continue over the next four weeks. Crews will mark lanes from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today through Friday, weather permitting. Crews will "stripe" lane markers throughout the city over the next month. Motorists encountering the paint-striping equipment should avoid crossing freshly painted lines.
