City Channel wins Telly awards
COLUMBIA, MO (May 4, 2011) - City Channel employees were recently recognized for their creative excellence in production, videography and graphic design. Joe Wittman and Jeff Rogers received bronze Telly awards from the Silver Telly Council, a prestigious judging panel of more than 500 accomplished industry professionals.
Wittman, a producer, videographer and editor, earned the Telly award for his story titled "S.W.A.T. Team." The story aired in September 2009 and gave viewers an inside look at the Columbia Police Department's Special Weapons and Tactics Team. Rogers's award-winning graphics appeared in a segment titled "Off the Clock" which aired in October 2010.
Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions and Web commercials, videos and films.
