City schedules community meetings with finalists for two city leadership positions

COLUMBIA, MO (November 16, 2011) - Citizens are invited to meet finalists for the positions of Office of Cultural Affairs manager and Convention and Visitors Bureau director at an informal reception on Monday, Nov. 21, from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. The session will be held in conference rooms 1A and 1B, City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. Comment cards will be available for those who want to provide written comments to the city manager.

Finalists for the Cultural Affairs position are:

*Randy Gray, president, Special Place Development; and

*Chris Stevens, treasurer, Rag Tag/True-False Film Festival

Finalists for the Convention and Visitors Bureau position are:

*Amy Schneider, interim director, Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau; and

*William Lennon, vice president of marketing and public relations, Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau.
