2502 Blueridge - Fire Damages Home

COLUMBIA, MO (April 3, 2012) - Columbia Fire Fighters were dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 2502 Blueridge at 7:53 PM on Tuesday, April 3, 2012. While enroute, Public Safety Joint Communications advised that a passing delivery driver was reporting smoke coming from the home.

Fire fighters arrived to find smoke coming from the home and made an aggressive interior attack. The fire was located and extinguished quickly; under 5 minutes.

Fire investigators are on the scene and working to determine and origin and cause. No damage estimates are available.

No additional information will be available until Wednesday, April 4, 2012.
