Glass to be replaced at Fifth and Walnut garage

COLUMBIA, MO (April 20, 2012) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announces that one lane of traffic on Fifth Street will be closed next week while glass is being replaced at the Fifth and Walnut parking garage. Columbia Glass and Mirror will replace some of the glass panels on the parking garage beginning Tuesday, April 24, weather permitting.

Walnut Street will remain open at all times. Fifth Street will be reduced to one-way for southbound traffic only. The sidewalk on Walnut Street and Fifth Street will be closed to pedestrian traffic in the work zone. The project should be completed with the roadway and sidewalk open to traffic by Wednesday, April 25, weather permitting.
