City Seeks Participants for 2013 Neighborhood Leadership Program

COLUMBIA, MO (December 18, 2012) - The Neighborhood Leadership Program (NLP) is currently accepting applications for the 2013 session. NLP is a four-session series on topics related to expanding knowledge of Columbia city government and increasing personal leadership skills to help strengthen the City's neighborhoods. Sessions will include a variety of local speakers including elected officials, city staff and neighborhood leaders. Sessions will be held January 28, February 25 and March 11 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Walton Building, 300 S. Providence Road. A fourth session will be held Saturday, March 16 as a field trip to several successful local neighborhoods.
