USS Columbia submarine commander and crew will visit Wednesday
COLUMBIA, MO (February 27, 2012) -
When:
Wednesday, Feb. 29, 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where:
First floor of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Flat Branch Pub, 115 S. Fifth, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.
What:
Commander Dennis Klein and two USS Columbia crew members, LTJG Ryan Loomis and EM1(SS) Daniel Keck, will visit Columbia Wednesday, Feb. 29. They will be guests of MU Navy ROTC and will conduct training/recruiting there that afternoon. Other activities during their visit include an assembly with the crew's new Columbia Public Schools partner, Benton School, a tour of City Hall and attendance of the MU/ISU basketball game.
