Street repairs on University Avenue

COLUMBIA, MO (January 3, 2012) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that Cook Concrete began repairs to University Avenue, between College Avenue and William Street, this morning at 8 a.m. This work will result in temporary lane restrictions throughout the day. The work should be completed and the street fully reopened Friday, Jan. 13, at 4 p.m., weather permitting. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
