Temporary sidewalk closure on Ninth Street

COLUMBIA, MO (January 3, 2012) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that beginning today, Milan Contracting, who is working for MMII Inc., will temporarily close a portion of sidewalk along Ninth Street. The sidewalk on Ninth Street between Woodson Way and the Chipotle restaurant will be closed for approximately 25 days, weather permitting.

This closure is due to excavation work for a new mixed use apartment building at 308 Ninth Street. This closure will only affect the sidewalk on the east side of Ninth Street. Pedestrians are asked to use an alternate route.
