Temporary sidewalk closure at Eighth and Broadway

COLUMBIA, MO (January 10, 2012) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces a temporary closure of the sidewalk at the corner of Eighth and Broadway on Wednesday, Jan. 11. Boone County National Bank will have the sidewalk temporarily closed while crews remove holiday lights. This work will result in the closure of sidewalk throughout the day on Wednesday, weather permitting. While crews work on the Broadway portion, Eighth Street will remain open; when the Eighth Street side is closed, Broadway sidewalk will be open. Pedestrians are asked to use an alternate route.
