Sewer work on West Boulevard North

COLUMBIA, MO (June 1, 2012) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announces that sewer maintenance crews will begin sewer repairs on West Boulevard North Tuesday, June 5, at 7:30 a.m. Sewer utility crews will repair a sanitary sewer main on West Boulevard North approximately 100 feet south of Walnut Court, between Walnut Court and West Broadway Street. The work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, weather permitting. 

Traffic on West Boulevard North between West Broadway Street and Walnut Court will be restricted to the use of one traffic lane during the sewer repairs. Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible. If the work is postponed due to inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for Wednesday, June 6.
