Panel discussion will focus on planning for the future of downtown Columbia

COLUMBIA, MO (June 19, 2012) - The Downtown Columbia Leadership Council will host a panel discussion from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, in the City Hall Council Chamber, 701 E. Broadway. The discussion will focus on planning for downtown development, infrastructure needs, financing options and the use of incentives, including the establishment of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) districts.

Brent Gardner, Downtown Leadership Council, will moderate. Panelists include: Randy Gray, Downtown Leadership Council; Laura Radcliff, senior vice president, Stifel Nicolaus; Mike Matthes, city manager; Vince Schoemehl, president, Grand Center Inc.; and Ken Christian, Grand Center Inc.
