No Fireworks Allowed in City Parks

COLUMBIA, MO (June 27, 2012) - As the Fourth of July holiday approaches, Columbia Parks and Recreation would like to remind park users that fireworks are not permitted in city parks. This includes not only shooting off fireworks, but also simply being in possession of fireworks in parks. Because of the extremely dry conditions, this will be aggressively enforced.
