First Ward and Sixth Ward to meet next week to discuss street improvements

COLUMBIA, MO (March 23, 2012) - Residents of Ward 1 and Ward 6 will have the opportunity to meet with city officials next week to provide input and ask questions about street improvements in Columbia.

Ward 1 will meet Monday, March 26, at 5:30 p.m. at the Armory Sports Center, 701 E. Ash, in the conference room. Ward 6 will meet Wednesday, March 28, at 5:30 p.m. at Unitarian Universalist Church, 2615 Shepard Blvd., in the church sanctuary.

The council representative and staff from the Public Works Department will be in attendance. Residents are encouraged to attend to provide input on street maintenance in their ward and learn about other future projects.
