Temporary road closure on Ninth Street

COLUMBIA, MO (March 26, 2012) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announces that Ninth Street from Elm Street to Woodson Way will be temporarily closed Tuesday evening, March 27, beginning at 7 p.m. Contractors working for MMII, LLC will install sewer and water taps across Ninth Street. 

Ninth Street will remain closed throughout the night and will reopen Wednesday morning, March 28, at 7 a.m., weather permitting. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to avoid the area and detour around Ninth Street.
