8th Street Closure between Walnut and mid-block on Thursday, November 8

COLUMBIA, MO (November 5, 2012) - Columbia Public Works and Community Development announce that a section of North 8th Street from Walnut to just north of the 8th and Walnut Parking structure exit will be closed on Thursday, November 8 from 8:00 am to 5:00 PM to allow a crane to lift items to the roof of the Guitar Building.

The alley behind City Hall which leads to the drive-through window for Utility payments, the exit from the 8th and Walnut Parking structure, and the entrance to the parking lot of Landmark Bank will remain open.

Motorist, cyclist, and pedestrians should plan alternate routes and use caution in the construction area. All work is weather dependent.
