Columbia Public Works Reminds Residents - Columbus Day is a Normal Trash Collection Day

COLUMBIA, MO (October 5, 2012) - The Columbia Public Works Department Solid Waste Division reminds residential and commercial refuse customers that normal trash and recycling collection routes will be run on Columbus Day  on Monday, October 8. Columbus Day is not a holiday for City operations and hence normal trash and recycling collection routes will occur normally throughout the week. 

The landfill is also open normal hours  as is the Capen Park Composte site.

Residential customers are also reminded that refuse should not be placed curbside earlier than 4:00 PM the day before your refuse and recycling collection occurs.
