Road Work on Forum Blvd Will Cause Lane Restrictions

COLUMBIA, MO (September 14, 2012) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announces that beginning Monday, September 17 at 7:00 am, the Street Maintenance Division crews will begin performing street repairs on Forum Blvd. between Woodrail Ave. and Green Meadows Road. 
This work will result in temporary lane restrictions throughout the day on Forum Blvd. Work is expected to be completed by the end of the week and the roadway fully reopened by Friday, September 21 at 3:00 PM. 
All work schedules are weather dependent. Motorist, cyclist, and pedestrians are urged to find alternative routes and use caution when in construction areas. Slow down and watch for construction workers and vehicles in an near the roadway.
