FAA Postpones Airport Control Tower Closings

COLUMBIA, MO (April 5, 2013) - The FAA today advised Don Elliott, Airport Manager at Columbia Regional Airport, that all scheduled 149 closures of Air Traffic Control Towers has been postponed until June 15. The notification indicated this would allow additional time for the FAA to evaluate legal challenges as well as provide additional time for the transition to occur.
