Death Investigation Determined To Be A Homicide

COLUMBIA, MO (April 11, 2013) - DEATH INVESTIGATION DETERMINED TO BE A HOMICIDE

 

On 04-10-13, at 7:00 P.M., officers responded to 2416 Cimarron Drive in reference to a report of a possible robbery and a person being unresponsive.   Officers arrived at 7:05 P.M. and found a male in his mid 40’s deceased.  The Criminal Investigations Division was contacted and responded.  Detectives determined the death to be a homicide and are actively investigating. 

 

The deceased is not being identified as the next of kin has not been notified yet.

 

The medical examiner is conducting an autopsy and we are not prepared to release the cause of death yet.
