Columbia Police Make Two More Arrests In Martha Drive Burglary, Case 2013-008414

COLUMBIA, MO (August 14, 2013) - COLUMBIA POLICE MAKE TWO MORE ARRESTS IN MARTHA DRIVE BURGLARY, CASE 2013-008414

 

Officers and Detectives of Columbia Police Department made two more arrests in the July 23rd Burglary which occurred in the 3200 block of Martha Drive.  Damon Lamont Harris, 21, was arrested on 08-13-13 at 12:39 P.M. at 309 West Worley Street without incident.  Martinez Demetrius Jackson, 18, was arrested later at 1:59 P.M. near the intersection of West Sexton Road and Banks Avenue after he assaulted officers and ran from them.

 

Damon Harris was arrested for Second Degree Burglary, Felony Stealing, and Second Degree Property Damage.  His total bond amount is $9,500.00.

 

Martinez Jackson was arrested for the following:

Second Degree Burglary,                                                      bond $4,500

Felony Stealing,                                                                      bond $4,500

Resisting Arrest,                                                                     bond $4,500

Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer,                                 bond $500

Second Degree Property Damage,                                          bond $500

Warrant for Failure to Appear, 2nd Degree Robbery,           bond $500

Warrant for Failure to Appear, Assault,                                bond $216.50

Warrant for Failure to Appear, No Operators License,      bond $500

Warrant for Failure to Appear, 1st Degree Trespassing,     bond $500

 

Columbia Police already arrested Ladame Smith, 19, in connection with this burglary on 08-11-13.   The case is still under investigation and more arrests are possible.
