Orr Street between Walnut and Ash restricted to one-way traffic and closures the week of August 19

COLUMBIA, MO (August 16, 2013) - The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Monday, August 19th, at 7:00 a.m., Trittenbach Construction will begin work to install a new private storm sewer drainage system for an apartment project located at 1101 E. Walnut St.  This work will result in a closure of the northbound lane of Orr Street between E. Walnut St. and E. Ash St. on August 19th to August 21st. 

Directly following this lane closure will be a road closure on Orr Street near E. Ash St. from August
22nd to August 23rd. The work should be completed and the road fully reopened by Friday, August 23rd, by 7:00 p.m.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
