Boards and commissions applications are available

COLUMBIA, MO (December 18, 2013) - The Columbia city clerk is accepting applications for boards and commissions. Applications must be received by the City Clerk’s Office, 701 E. Broadway, 2nd floor, by 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3. Applications are available at the clerk’s office or on the city’s website at GoColumbiaMo.com on the City Council page. The following are current boards and commissions openings:  


*Board of Mechanical Examiners

*Boone County Community Services Advisory Commission

*Building Construction Codes Commission

*Columbia Vision Commission

*Finance Advisory and Audit Committee

*Mayor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Health

*Personnel Advisory Board

*Planning and Zoning Commission

*Railroad Advisory Board

*Sustainable Farms and Communities, Inc. Board
