Volunteers needed for Eve Fest on New Year’s Eve

COLUMBIA, MO (December 26, 2013) - Volunteers are needed to assist with Columbia Eve Fest 2013 that will be held on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31. Eve Fest, formerly First Night Columbia, will be held Tuesday evening with entertainment and activities at the Missouri Theatre, the Missouri United Methodist Church and on 9th Street.

Volunteers are needed to serve as button sellers, button checkers, ushers, stage hands, emcees and assist with children’s art activities in shifts lasting about two hours.  There is a special need for volunteers from 8-10 p.m. and 9:45-11:30 p.m. Volunteers receive a complimentary admission button to enjoy Eve Fest before and after their shift. Youth and families are welcome to volunteer.
