Homicide on McKee Street

COLUMBIA, MO (July 15, 2013) - On 7/14/13 at 11:44 P.M., officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of McKee Street in reference to a shots fired. Officers arrived on scene at McKee Park and found a male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:31 A.M. The male victim is in his late teens and his name is not being released until next of kin has been notified.

 

There is no suspect information at this time and the investigation is ongoing. If anyone has any information about this homicide please contact the Columbia Police Department or Crimestoppers at (573)875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
