Locust and Hitt Street intersection work will affect traffic starting on Monday, July 22

COLUMBIA, MO (July 19, 2013) - Begining on Monday, July 22 at 8:00 am, Cook Concrete will be performing pavement cuts at Hitt and Locust streets to allow for electric conduits and wiring to be installed for a street light project. The work will alternately close Hitt or Locust, however both streets will not be closed at the same time.

The streets will be fully reopened by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 24, weather permitting.

Motorist, cyclist, and pedestrians and urged to use caution in the area and find alternate routes.

Thank you for your patience while the City of Columbia works to improve our infrastructure.
